Writing prompt – Alzheimer’s disease

June 12, 2014

This is such an awful soul robbing disease that affects so many people regardless of their status or age. So many people have a family member or know of a friend’s family member, or are themselves suffering with this terrible disease. And not only is it awful for the inflicted but also for their families who will lose them twice, once to memory and when they pass.

Hopefully this prompt stirs something in you to write. (I’ll be posting something shortly myself)

My boss’s daughter, Sarah (16), is raising funds for Alzheimer’s Australia, by participating in the ‘Bring it to the Table’ Campaign in support of her mother Cathy (50).

If you wish to make a donation you can click on the below it will take you to her page and it also has her story on why she is doing it. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

It’s a good cause… This is my way of supporting her.
