September 25, 2015

This is a Friday Fictioneers Prompt

“Pull over!”

“We c-c-can’t, they’re right on our tail.” The shaking hadn’t stopped.

“Pull over I said!”

“Listen, Pal. This bridge it is, we need to get across, we only need to cross it and we’ll be safe.”

“We ain’t gonna get across it. They’ll stop us before we make it. Pull over!” The gun wavered for only a second.

“What are you going to do?”

“The less you know the better. Listen, thanks for ya help.”

The car screeched to a stop.

“Be careful out there now, yeah?” The door opened. An instant later there was a splash.
