The Dare (Friday Fictioneers)

October 9, 2015

It was hot, so hot. The noise was excruciating. Screams and shouts calling for god and help and mommys.

The sun was spinning… No… not the sun. I was.

Up and down, around and around, faster and faster. I shouldn’t have done this. I shouldn’t have taken the dare. I know I’m not a fraidy cat, so why did I need to prove it to them? I don’t even like them.

Up and down. Up and down.

It’s just— I ate that hotdog. Candy floss, and the burger. Oh and that giant cup of cola.

Up and down.

Oh no!

Thank you for not including the gory details, although I can feel them coming up. Well done.
