Finders Keepers (Friday Fictioneers)

March 16, 2017

They said it come from the sky.

Horseradish! There was no way something that large would come from up there.

Jeremy fumbled for his can only to find it empty when he picked it up. Damn it! He didn’t have no more. He’d had to call the boys.

Pushing on the arms of his lawn chair he hobbled up to the back porch. Buzzing near his ears had him waving his hands around like a loon. But it wasn’t the damned mosquitos.

He looked up. Something silver and grey hung over his head. A light shone down, blinding him.
