I’ll return (Friday Fictioneers)

November 22, 2018

PHOTO PROMPT © Dale Rogerson

Zooming over the falls in the borrowed Starshiner, I admit my jaw dropped. If they were that large from up here, what would they be like on the ground? One day I’d return. I wanted to get up close and personal with those falls. The noise would be freakin insane.

“Gaining on us, boss.”

“I see em.” My shipboard computer had been blarting the news for a while. Alliance Security Corp certainly were a stubborn bunch.

“Shoot back then,” I ordered. We had the cargo. They weren’t gonna stop us. “Remind them we bite.”

Our guns spewed deadly rain. “Woooooooooooooo!”

  2. Loved the detail of “Starshiner”

  3. Love that he could take time out to appreciate the falls. Nice.

  4. Fun to get your Scifi on… 🙂

  5. Dear Laurie,

I agree with Iain. I saw Han Solo in this one. 😉

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

    • Thank you! that is the best compliment EVER!! I love Solo hahahahaha – hence my blog’s name

  6. He’s a cool customer musing about the falls while being pursued, nice one

  7. I wonder if a roguish guy like this ever will return a tourist.

    • hmmmm I wonder. Can you imagine. “Hi, just taking Holosnaps of the falls, don’t mind me or my holstered weapon.” hahaha

  8. Okay, I’m not a Star Wars person. What is “dearly rain”? Or does “dearly” moderate “spewed”?

  9. You are the sci-fi guru! I love how you mind works!! Another fantastic one Laurie!!
