Master of my Domain (Friday Fictioneers)

PHOTO PROMPT © CEAyr

I survey all that is mine. My people are gone through the day but return in the evening to prepare my food. If I feel like it, I will allow them to stroke me. Perhaps not today. I lift my nose scenting fish. Excellent. The staff here have put out my lunch. Still, the sun is warm. I do not feel like moving.

“Oi, you cat… Git off me bike.”

I lick my lips and stare, flicking an ear.

“Oh fine. I’ll get lunch, but you better be gone when I get back.”

He departs.

I lay down and purr.

Heh, what fun. At least the narrator knows how to properly behave around a cat. Your Toffee looks very cute–and like she has an attitude. 🙂

  6. Cats… they are master of lording it over humans
Your boss looks like quite the character!

  7. Not gonna happen…

  8. Dear Laurie,

As has been said before, “Dogs have owners, cats have staff.” You made me laugh. Toffee does look like she rules.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  9. She looks like a boss 🙂

  10. Cats know how to rule us…

  11. Abhijit Ray permalink

Cats are moody. They don’t listen to anyone.
