I wonder (Friday Fictioneers)

They say they have pretty big brains. I don’t know about that. I mean, whales are huge aren’t they? Cows probably have big brains… might not do much with em. Eat and poop but hey, it’s a good life. Oh, and elephants might have a big brain. I’m sure science can confirm. I’m just thinking out loud. I wonder about dinosaurs. Pretty big brains with the biggest ones, right? Humans. Yeah, they’ve got a brain. Only use about 10%

Wonder what would happen if we used more of it? Magic? Telekinesis? Super powers?

Wonder how much brain an alien uses?

  1. Delicious wondering

  2. Interesting ideas. I think animal brains are programmed for survival, whereas the poor human brain has gone beyond the need for food and shelter and instead has opened the door to a strange world. Places that are sometimes inspirational and unfortunately also a gateway to the evil recesses of dark ness.

  3. I wish I could unlock the rest of my brain, I’d settle for the part that remembers where I put my car keys…

  4. Brains are pretty much unexplored territory, aren’t they? Great musings.

  5. Bigger is better. Interesting narration and enjoyable read.

  6. Dear Laurie,

Sometimes I wonder if humans use even that much. If aliens have half of that they’d never consider visiting Earth. 😉

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  7. Fun set of speculations. Who knows? This one definitely made me smile!

  8. What I would like to know is how to access the 90% of my brain “they” say I’m not using 🙂
