No place like home (Friday Fictioneers)

PHOTO PROMPT © Roger Bultot

The joy of a having a family who never traveled was that I could show them photos on my “really cool prototype phone – where did you get that?” and they thought I was merely well traveled. I went through the images from Persius eight and Telner and Mydock and they smiled and ooo’d and ahhh’d in all the right places. How I became a space traveler, well, that’s a story for another time. Still my shipmates didn’t mind me popping in to dazzle the folks. I kicked back on the couch and sipped my coffee. Nothing better than home brew!

Holiday snaps, are in my view only good as memory prompts, but I did like your take on them

  8. Who’d have thought that space travellers go home and show their pictures like everyone else who wants to impress the family. What a unique idea.
