What is real? (Friday Fictioneers)

“Doesn’t it look like a giant pulled the grass aside like a curtain to expose the white rock?”
“Say what?”
“A giant love.”
“A giant what?”
“No A giant, a giant. A human but giant sized. Like an ogre or a rock troll from those shows you like to watch.”
“Well, what makes you think one didn’t?”
“What?”
“Yeah, and the footprints are in the water which is why you can’t see them.”
“And the beach?”
“Wind blew the sand in, covered it up.”
“Giants, huh?”
Thud thud thud.
“Why is the ground shaking like that?”
“Ah, honey?”
“…yep.”
“Run!”

Hahaha thank you, Rochelle! I think so. 😉
I like how you flipped the script in this, from laughable fantasy to terrifying reality.
Thank you so much!
You’re very welcome 🙂
Oh, what fun! Love the use of dialogue to tell this story.
Thank you!!
Hard to hide giants. Fun one, Laurie.
